One evening in May 2025, Paul’s website faced a severe hack, redirecting to a site with thousands of pages of Japanese code.
Paul contacted me, and within an hour, I secured the domain from the previous website developer. An hour later, a temporary page was live to maintain SEO.
Over the next three weeks, I coordinated everything: creating a secure, three-page site; writing all content, including a tailored About Us page; and optimising for Felixstowe, Ipswich, and Woodbridge.
The site integrates Paul’s branding, with a colour scheme that perfectly reflects his work. Special thanks to Labelcraft’s Laura for the quick turnaround on the banner and logo.
Now hosted on secure servers with server-level protection, and equipped with Google Analytics for ongoing monitoring.
He now has a professional website for Cotterell Carpentry. The site was with an emphasis on clarity, trust, and showcasing his recent work, all pulled from his Facebook images.
The homepage features a full-width hero section with a high-quality photograph of a modern fitted kitchen to immediately demonstrate the standard of his craftsmanship.

Careful attention was given to selecting a warm, neutral colour palette and clean typography, supporting a friendly yet professional tone.
